The Web Print Queue

What is it?

The Web Print Queue has a dual purpose. First, it is the place where color print jobs from personal computers are queued, to await your approval. Second, the Web Print Queue keeps track of all your printing charges during the year.

Who is it for?

For those of you (students) printing color jobs from personal computers, you must point a web browser at Web Queue, login, and authorize your jobs. If you are printing color jobs from the IRCs, you do not need to visit the Web Queue to authorize your jobs. They will be sent through immediately.

The section of the Web Print Queue devoted to printing charges can be viewed by anyone interested in knowing what they have been charged for printing during the year.

  3. Select lib_color for the Library color printer, or irc_color for the IRC color printer queue.

You can view the charges you have accrued for printing by visiting the billing section of the web print queue. You'll need to login with your network username and password. After logging in with your network username and password, you'll see your printing charges for each period.
