Giving to Reed

2009 Reunion Gift Program

Reunion gifts are critical to the Annual Fund. Many alumni celebrating a reunion stretch their giving to a new level as a tribute to Reed and the importance of Reed in their lives today.

Last year’s reunion classes contributed a remarkable $402,598 to the Annual Fund which represented a 46% increase over the same classes’ giving in 2007. Through their increased support, reunion-year alumni have a significant impact on the lives of current Reed students.

Each reunion class has two goals, a dollar goal and participation goal. All gifts to the Annual Fund from alumni in a reunion year, July 1 to June 30, count toward class goals.

2009 Reunions Gift Chairs

Volunteer gift chairs from reunion classes lead class efforts. Volunteers celebrate the Reed experience with their classmates, inspiring them to reflect on the importance of Reed in their lives and asking them to join in making an increased gift to the Annual Fund in honor of their reunion year.

We are in the process of recruiting gift chairs now. Are you interested in volunteering to help with your class effort? Please email Lauren Creany or call 503/517-7904.
